After more than 25 years behind the chair, Ayesha Derché stepped away. She needed rest. She thought her chapter was closed.

But purpose doesn't retire. Clients kept calling. Her hands missed the craft. Her heart missed the transformations. So she came back — renewed, refined, and ready to do more than style hair. She returned to educate, to mentor, and to build something that lasts beyond any single appointment.

Today, Ayesha operates from a private luxury suite in Lanham, Maryland, where every client receives her undivided attention. She teaches working stylists the business and science behind healthy hair. And through her nonprofit, she ensures no child in the DC-Metro area faces winter without warmth.

Ayesha also provides lifestyle consulting, and creative strategy sessions for hair businesses looking to refine their aesthetic, strengthen their visual identity, or craft compelling stories across social media.

In 2017, a conversation in Ayesha's salon changed everything — she learned that children in her community were going to school without coats. That week, she started collecting. Today, her Love & Warmth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has distributed 500+ brand-new coats to 300+ families across the DC-Metro area.

Ayesha Derché started doing hair at sixteen. By twenty, she was booked solid. Over three decades, she earned every credential behind the chair — assistant, colorist, educator, salon owner — before stepping into retirement.

But the work wasn't done. She came back with a sharper vision: a private luxury suite at Sola Salon in Woodmore Towne Center, where every client gets her full attention. No double-booking. No assembly line. Just premium products, healthy-hair science, and the kind of expertise that only comes from 20,000 hours in the chair.

Today, Ayesha is equally passionate about teaching other stylists to build sustainable careers rooted in education — not just aesthetics. She mentors beauty professionals on advanced technique, business development, and the healthy-hair protocols that keep clients coming back for decades.
